According to the Yorkshire Post , Everton under-23 manager David Unsworth is keen on the vacant managerial position at Barnsley. Unsworth was recently linked with the managers job at Oxford but has since decided to stay on till the end of the season but representatives at Barnsley believe Unsworth is likely candidate but has competition from the likes of Simon Grayson, Paul Hurst and Neil Redfearn who all rank highly amongst the bookies.
