Silva signed a three year deal last month which will take him to 2021 but Everton are hopeful to complete the building of the new stadium by 2022-23 season and have a long term plans for Silva which would see the Portuguese manager beyond his three year term.
“When I spoke with the owner, one of the first things he said was about the new stadium,” Silva said.
“He wants really that I will be there as a coach. This shows he has confidence in my work and I will do everything for this to happen.
“When a club with a big past changes the stadium, it is important and I think it will be an enjoyable moment for all Evertonians and for me if I can stay and if I can prove I deserve to stay here.”
“The club needs some stability in the manager and for the squad to not change every year,” he said.
“To be honest with you, it’s something I try to find for my career. Stability is something I want and a project with ambition.”
