The fixtures for the 2018/19 Premier League Season were announced today and this time the fixtures computer has been pretty kind to Everton.
In the opener, what could turn out to be a tricky enough tie away to newly promoted Wolves is followed by a home tie against Southampton before a trip away to Bournemouth. With back-to-back games at Goodison Park following that against Huddersfield and West Ham it’s fair to say Evertonians won’t be complaining too much.
It’s a stark contrast to last season when an extremely tough start no doubt helped put the final nails in Ronald Koeman’s coffin before being sacked in October. New manager Marco Silva will be hoping to get off to a good start to the campaign with some very winnable games to kick off his tenure as Everton boss.
