As we heard last time and it posted it here  Momentum seems to be picking up more recently with last nights article from chief sports writer for the Mirror, John Cross with Allardyce looking like is time at Everton is coming to an end with Paulo Fonseca his likely replacement.

Latest news coming out of Russia is Paulo Fonseca has still not signed an improved contract and is keen with a move to the premiership with Everton being firm favourites.

Fonseca latest on his future:

“There have been invitations, but I have to think about what is best for me and for my career. The championship is going on and I want to decide what is best to continue my career. I’m focused on Shakhtar, I want to finish first and then i will look at the rest”

It doesn’t end there either. Steve Walsh is under increased pressure with PSV Eindhoven director of football, Marcel Brands lined up to replace Walsh come the summer as Moshiri wants to a clear out from top to bottom, including coaching staff, scouts, technical staff and his ready to give Fonseaca and Brands more funds to push for a European finish.

Allardyce who still has a contract till 2019 and has managed to get Everton to  40 points so far with 7 games remaining but still seems very unpopular amongst Everton fans with Fonseca being a firm favourite to replace him.
